Hi! Nice jump! Your horse has good position! I like the release too! My critique would be that your leg slides back in the big pic. Also, try to open the angle of your hip a bit more. Overall, good though.

Oh I love the way that Palomino (?) jumps! A beautiful hunter horse! He/she has nice even knees and a rounded form over this fence. The horse is reaching just a tad but it could just be because of the distance (s)he took it at. (S)he has good expression and leaves the ground almost evenly.
From what I can see in the larger photo, your upper body posture looks nice! Your back is flat, you are looking ahead and you have a good release. Your leg has slid back a tad which has caused you to push your body too far in front of the saddle- your crotch should be over the seat of your saddle, rather than the pommel. You have managed to keep your heels down well so kuddos to you!
You are both well turned out for the show. Your horse is well groomed and *gleaming* ;)
And you in your show coat, breeches and tall-boots.
Very nice overall!

I would guess you are pinching with your knee which is making it a pivot point and that is why your lower leg is sliding back and your body is jumping ahead.

I work on my lower leg by doing lots of 2point on the flat. Just make sure you are using your legs properly as shock absorbers. No grippy knee! Also, make sure to open the angle of your hip a bit more. Ride without stirrups as a refresher. You are doing well already, but we all have things to work on. Love your horse's form too!
