    Lady 9 yr. old OTTB

This is Lady, she is 9 yrs. Old and has been off the track for a while now and I am training her for low-level hunters and possible low-level dressage. I'd love your honests opinions of her. : )

This is her last winter slightly underweight and fuzzy.

    April

    June

    August (slightly over weight)

I am not good at critque but she really is gorgous. She jumped well but I could see were she kind of paused before jumping. If rider was ever on her though you could just give her a little nudge before the base of the jump to keep her from dying out. Otherwise I thin she is very pretty!

Just from looking at her pictures, I really don't have much to say. (Which is not common!).
I absolutely love this horse. I love the way she is built. She is built very proportionally, unlike most Thoroughbreds. She has a nice build to her, and looks like she's got nice solid legs to support it.
Her legs look nice and straight as well, and her shoulder looks in line.
She doesn't look downhill, or uphill for that matter either. Perfectly balanced.

She looks like she's a real charm as well.

    :)

Thanks! She is my baby. She is really doing well and is very happy, comfortable horse.

Our only problem is her feet. Since she was bred for racing she has very small squarish hooves. We don't hae any soundness issues yet but I expect them to come eventually though hopefully not in the near future.

I was going to say that her hooves do look like they are cut very short and high (tall), but didn't know if that is how you cut them, a result of a bad farrier, or if it was a hoof issue.

I really can't offer any help seeing as how I can't actually see her feet or know how they grow, but I'm sure you're already taking care of it since you are aware. That is the first step.
    :)

She does look very happy and content, you can totally tell by the pictures.
