More jumping!

Okay... I got a SLIGHTLY better video of Twende and I jumping today...but it was taken on my phone, so the quality is sort of bad...

YouTube - Trotting and cantering a crossrail

We haven't cantered much over jumps, so in the second jump, I know I got into my two-point early, but we're both still working on spacing and such. The quality, again, is not very good, but I'll try and make sure the batteries in my camera are charged next time so I can video it a bit better. (: Just eh, don't sit too close to the screen when watching, because it's less blurry from a few feet away.

You guys look good together. It's hard to get much from the video since it is so blurry, but it's ok. The one thing I would say is that since you are teaching the horse to jump, I would be weary of two pointing early. You ultimately know your own horse, but if he feels like stopping at the fence..... you are going to end up over his head if you are already in your two point. When you go into it early you are basically throwing yourself at him, and loose your secure seat which is helping him to the fence. With a green horse to fences you need to give them extra support to the fence and away from the fene.

Not bad at all!
keep your head up though and do not look down, after some practice with that itll really improve your all around position. YOuve got the basics very very nicely though

Thank you very much!
I think-though I can't tell for sure in this video-that my head is up, but it looks like I'm looking down because my helmet is weird... (getting a new one soon enough)

As for the two-point, yeah...I need to work on that a lot.... (:

Thank you!

2-points are not the easiest things to pick up. practice helps! keep up the good /hard work.
