It's difficult to critique a horse's conformation when they're tacked up, and you only have one not very good picture.

If you want a true conformational critique, you need the right type of pictures.

From what I can see, he looks to have a very straight shoulder and upright pasterns, neither of which are desirable in a riding horse.

I agree with SR.

That photo also makes him look like he has a very weak back end. It looks out of proportion to his front end.

Hi, Thanks for the replies, this is the only picture i could find of just him, without tack, or him rolling or without a rug.
it's a little cut of at the back sadly, i'll take a better picture soon!

Other Than That I Have A Picture Of Him, Walking Towards The Camera, and Him Cantering.

Walking

Cantering, a bit blurry.

Shay having a rest...

Just because he has tack on doesnt mean he was being ridden. I have pictures of an almost 3yo fully tacked up, but she has never been ridden. In the OPs case, the only way to know is if she tells us :) and its not to uncommen to start riding a horse at 2, it really depends on the horse.
Either way: He is super cute!

He hasn't been ridden, i do alot of work with him with tack on, such as long reining, free schooling, and general leading so his not frighten of having his tack put on and taken off when it gets to actually breaking him.
His been sat on a few times and walked around (about 3 times for a few minutes) so it's not so much of suprise in march when he starts ridden work.
