My jumping position... help please!!

Heey (: I rode my friends new pony today and he is great! We were jumping 3ft3 and she took a few vids and pics. As I was watching them afterwards I realised that takeoff and in the air position were fine but on the landing I got a bit left behind and was catching him in the mouth. Does anyone know of any exercises or anything I can try to stop this from happening? Thanks

This may be happening because you are actually getting left behind from the beginning, but you just don't realize it until the landing. Or it may be that your release is too small. Or you might not be getting left behind, it's just that your hip angle is too open. There are lot's of reasons why this could be happening, but it's really hard to tell without actually seeing it.

Is there any chance you could post some of the pictures and videos? It would make it a lot easier to identify the core problem. :)

It could also be from jumping ahead on take off. Do you have any pics/videos ??
