My New Horse!!!!

Here is a little bit of history on my new girl Dime

She was bred as a cutting horse in the West she was soon sold to one of my trainer's closest friends. We kept an eye on her as we saw her develop. She knows her job very well and no one has yet to beat her. Although once she was sold to that trainer she was never used for cutting it helped her in the ring as she competes in jumpers. Dime can turn on an instance and has the speed and power to go behind it.

So far I have jumped her 4' 0" and we have free lunged her 5'3" (top of the standard we were using ha ha ha) She clears everything without a problem

Nameime
Breed: Pinto
Height: a wopping 15.1hh!!! Beat that
Career: Jumpers/hunter paces for fun
Ability: Haven't reached the max yet
Plan on doing with her: 'A' Rated Jumper shows Children's( 3' 6")

Here are some pics. Please don't be rude as she had 4 months off before I got her. Let me know what you think of her. Some people think she is the ugliest thing  they have ever seen and I am fine with that because I lover her. She does everything asked and she is different!
Sorry I don't have any jumping pics. (they turn out blurry inside)

Dime and I standing:

Just standing around:

Now to Confo:
Standing on a bit of a down hill:

I don't know if you can really critique this one because of her head and stance...:

Kind of a but shot (or half but shot):

Pics of her head and AMAZING 1 1/2 blue eyes!!!!

Whats over there??? I wonder????

Straight on:

Right Eye:

Left Eye:

If anything you have to look at her eyes!! They are soooooo different!!!!!

Thanks

It is the one thing that keeps me from being just a girl

I think she is beautiful! I love different looking horses and I like her markings too and she is a stocky build which is another thing I like.
Don't worry what others think as long as you love her and she loves you that is all that matters. Have lots of fun with her

Very pretty, her back is a bit funny but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe slightly swayed... And her neck is a bit short, but otherwise she looks nice. It sounds weird, but 15.1 is usually WAY to big for a cutter, nothing over 15 hh is usually good, although there are exceptions. But I bet she can jump! P.S.-love the neon green stuff 8)

The original owners sold her for dirt cheap because she was so big and they didn't have anything to do with her so they sold her, but being able to turn is what we need her to do and she can turn on a dime..hence the name Dime ha ha ha

I noticed her back too. She had a grass belly but that's basically gone but I still notice her back too and I can't tell what it is!!! And Neon Green is my FAVORITE color ha ha ha I have everything possible in neon green from brildles to boots everything neon green I want ha ha ha

I think she looks nice. I don't understand why you said: beat that on her height... my horse is like 15.3... o well.
You got a nice horse.

I said that on her hieght because in the heigher level jumpers espcially at 'A' rated shows smaller horses are looked down upon....

Agh I WISH I could remember the names of the pair that I saw at Spruce Meadows a number of years ago... Nick Skelton? Anyways, they won the Derby and the horse stood 15.2hh. Everyone always doubts the smaller horses, but sometimes they have that extra little bit to get them through it!

Nice horse by the by! Post jumping pictures!!

*Note: Spruce Meadows is a Grand Prix jumping complex located where I live. All the "Big Time" riders (Pessoa, Miller, Skelton to name just a few!) come through to compete in the summer circuits, so it's not just some rinky-dink thing
