New horse: Critique?

So, he's finally here!
He's an 11 year old 15.3 QH gelding. I have no idea what a QH is suppose to look like... but I think he's cute. He sure wintered well, he round. Anyway, sorry, the pictures aren't the best... he isn't great at standing

He's going to be a little 2'6" hunter at some local and possible some lower level B shows. Nothing big. What do you think?

And because I think he's cute

He's nice! Great neck and shoulder. Nice legs. Pretty head and expression. Looks to be in excellent condition and well balanced.

His back is maybe a tad long and his hind end a little weak compared to his front. The pics don't make it clear, but his hind legs look a touch straight. I would do some flat work with a dressage trainer to strengthen him behind (but I would do that with any horse). I also would have the farrier check the angle of his hind feet -- they might be a little long, but I'm not exactly an expert, and if he is sound, he's sound!

Congrats! What's his name?

Jessie, we're actually trying to think up a show name now.

I'm a little apprehensive about having a full QH... they're not exactly my favorite breed, but he's a nice ride. He isn't are first one, but he's definitely one that actually looks like one. I have no idea what they are suppose to look like.

Supermane! How are you doing? Congrats on the new boy, he sure is a looker!
He has a fantastic shoulder. Fairly short back, but long body (does that make sense?) Upright neck attachment, nice hindquarter. (I believe the way he is set up makes his body and hindquarter look a little odd.)
Overall... I really like him. I can't wait for picture updates from this upcoming show season

I REALLY like this guy, I am drawn to big horses and he's an absolute tank! Bet he will look even better with some conditioning. Congrats!

Doesn't even look like a QH. He kinda lacks that classic QH trademark of a muscular hind end and a short neck. Looks appendix to me(TB/QH). I love him. He's gorgeous

Same as the other posts...weak hind end, long body, short back, nothing bad at all though. Get some muscle on those hind quarters and he's all set my darlin'! Hehe...I think he's a beautiful boy, very shiny, and looks like he was well taken care of. Have fun with him! Oh...and CONGRATS!!

Ahh congratulations! I agree with the others and overall think he's great looking, especially that face.
Good luck with him! :)

he's sure a cutie. Are you sure he doesn't have TB? He's got a short back high withers. He toes out!

But he's soo adorable.
