    He could be an appendix, but he is definitely not a thoroughbred. We haven't gotten his papers yet, but we know they are AQHA. Actually, I vaguely of remember the old owner saying he was 1/4 TB, so it's very possible.

    Thanks everyone for the comments. We're really excited about working with him and then eventually showing him in a month or so. He isn't going to be winning any A rated shows, but he's very honest to the jumps and a relatively decent mover.

    A lot of AQHA registered horses DO have TB in them. And even a wee bit of TB breeding can show up as a very strong physical expression.

    Not every QH looks like Impressive.
