| can't really tell too much from these pictures but I'll try my best
Looks high in the withers, which wouldn't be too great for jumping, but is good in dressage
Neck is aweful skinny in my taste, but doesn't look too odd as some necks I've seen
He's camped under in the front, but he has nice angles in his hind legs.
He's really pretty, but I'd like to see more muscling, especially since he is a trakehner.
But his color is really pretty, and I LOVE absolutely LOVE his head!! You got a pretty boy there! |

yes his neck is skinny but we are working on that. it is much more muscly than when i got him thats for sure :) basically as i said in the original post, he has more weight and condition to put on but we are getting there ;)
camped under?? does that mean his front legs are a little too far back???
and yeah, i think hes a pretty boy. he has a very appealing head and eyes. you would never know a little devil lurks beneath lol nah, hes not that bad...just green :) |

| the first thing i want to say is i absolutely love the third picture. He looks so elegant there!
He does have a skinny neck, but he's also getting conditioned, so that's ok.
He looks great, Jazzy |

| I actually liked his neck. Little thin, but he's not stocky build anyway. And withers are not extremely high and goes nicely into the back. Yes he still needs some weight (I know, jazzy, you are working on that, so it's not a critique :) ). |

Horses: 0 | Hey
I think with a bit more weight and muscel he is going to be a BIG BOY! He has big bones, which is awesome! He has fair conformation, he is a tad cow hocked but defintally not bad. He has a gorgoues head, love his markings! I can see a possible Eventer here!!
Goodluck with him :) |

| thanks guys :)
delregans way - i like that you can see a possible eventer because that eventually is what i plan to do :) hes only 8 so he has all the time in the world and yep! hes gunna be a big, chunky boy lol
the main things that have been mentioned like his neck and weight can be fixed which is good :) the wither will be less noticeable once he gets some topline. but i cant doing anything about being a little cow hocked lol but im thinking that wont effect us too much if any :)
thanks again for everyones input |

| I do like him.
He seems built uphill.
You got it right that he needs weight.
And he seems cow-hocked. |

| Harlee, being uphill is good for English stuff, especially Dressage/Jumping - which is what Jazzy is looking to do with him :)
Jazzy, he is very cute, and it's extremely hard to believe that he was a rescue.. other than still being slightly underweight, but he's 100 times better than when you got him.
Keep up the good work! He's a looker, and with more muscle.. goodness! |
