He's gorgeous! That's about all I can offer...
My old BO had a Trakehner and he was stunning, a beautiful mover and tons of fun to watch her. She was doing upper level dressage and riding with her was always a treat. Best of luck with your beauty!

Im like 5'1...a shrimp lol
Thank you, I am in love with him. I wasnt going to get another horse when I sold Klassy but somehow the day after Klassy's sale I had a new horse hehehe

He is very talented, I hope to do upper level dressage and big jumping with him! My first horse that will take me the furthest then any other and he's getting me back into showing!

Anyone got anything to say about his confirmation? Im working on getting a video but it wont be till after the 15th.

Really would like to hear what people have to say about his body and what not.

I hear WB grow till 9 years old somtimes? Is this true and if so how big do you think he will get? All I know is mama was a good 17h and daddy and 16.1h

Thanks!

Ahhhh I love this horse. :)

He looks like he has wonderful movement and I really like how round and supple he is in the undersaddle picture. Your riding has also improved a lot too, you match each other so well!

I do like how he is put together overall, very typey and compact with a nice shoulder and uphill build. He might grow a bit (16-16.1), but it seems to me that he won't grow any drastic amount, he is filled out in all the right places but needs a bit more muscle in the hindquarters and along the topline. My guy is dutch warmblood and he finished growing at about 7, all horses are different. Plus, he might also "grow" a bit more when he gets proper muscling and such haha. They always look at least a hand taller when they are fit. ;) Really work on getting him supple and accepting through the bridle and neck, he needs to develop some nice neck muscles to keep his roundness when you have contact. The onlt thing that seem kind of off is his right pastern. It may just be the angle but it looks super long and weak, not a good thing to have when looking at a jumping horse. Maybe try and get some better confo pics of him with his head up and standing really square.

Overall, I loveeee him. He has so much potential and I can't wait to see you guys grow and learn together!
Klassic Superstar likes this.

Blush, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
I love him to death!
Right now undersaddle, that's exactly what we are working. He's come pretty far, used to just spead along and bulge his shoulder.
He's so awesome to ride! The right hind, that's funny that you find that's the one you see as weak cause he hada weak left hind end when I got him from them over jumping him! My first trainer I took him to jumped him evry lesson and training ride so I pulled him out of that. He's not been on the flast for a little over a month and has gotten so much better, We found out he was beat on the left side as well so holds himself very tight on that side on the ground as well as undersaddle, gets pretty defensive so I have been doing lot sof ground and under saddle streches and massage work and he really seems to be getting stronger and trusting me more and more. He used to spook at everything when I got him and now he just looks and goes on with work!
SUCH AN AMAZING GUY!
