Can I get some opinions on this mare?
I really like how she rides. She's a walker mare, got an extremely long gait. 15.2 and 12 years old. I'm just looking for something to do fun shows with and trail rides. These are the only photos that were sent to me.

I know NOTHING about gated horses. I think she's stunning. What is that color...not true black is it?

What do you want to do in shows. I would be worried with a gated horse you would be limited.

She looks like a black Sabino with Sabino roaning...She's beautiful, I say you must go try her out! She has pretty good confo from what I can really tell in those pics (not great confo shots, obviously), but again, it certainly can't hurt to go try her out, and just get her vet checked, and teeth/age check, if she doesn't have registration papers.

She's registered. I was told she is registered as a roan. But I agree with the Sabino. I rode her last weekend. She was AWESOME! When she goes into the walking gait it's like flying. She's also a sweetheart. Has done parades, been on the road, been to fairs and has produced some nice looking babies (not that that matters but it's still nice).

I know I'd have to gaited classes. Which sucks just a little. The owner is looking for something calmer. I'm looking for something spunkier. So I would be trading Piper (once I find a new boarding place) for this mare. She sent me pics of her babies but my e-mail service is being weird so I'll have to wait to post them...

Lol it's been a while, but I judged Walking horses in 4-h. She looks like a nice mare. They aren't great conformation shots. But it looks like she's got a nice shoulder and straight legs. She's got that classic Walker head, and a clean throat latch. She looks like she's starting to get a little sway in her back, probably from having babies, but it's nothing too major. Over all she's a beautiful little mare. If you like the way she rides I'd go for it.
