Thanks, Wren! Yep, she's a TB, I've had her for a year. That was a pretty bad last minute tail braid, but it doesn't look too bad. I don't think it's a matter of that feeling of a race; she had a rough start off the track after she was re-trained in dressage. The dressage trainer sold her to someone who REALLY screwed her up, to where she lost all of her dressage training and would basically flip out whenever you touched her sides. She sold her because she didn't know how to fix her, and the next owner was deathly afraid of her canter! So I ended up with her, sent her back to the original dressage trainer for a month, and since then she's done very well. I still need to work on slowing that canter down even more, but honeslty, I'm delighted with how she's going! Fuadteagan, thanks! Just keep working with her; she'll eventually learn not to go down for grass. I can't imagine how bad Molly would have been had there been grass in the ring .
