I wish I looked that good on a horse! We look to be about the same age - but people ask me if the horse should be carrying me - or if I should be carrying the horse!

Good for your Mom!! That is really great.

All I can say is that she may want to sink down her heels a bit more, especially over the jump. That will prevent her leg from slipping backwards the little bit it did. :)
Also, I'd say allow a little more of a release. Not a lot more, since its still a small jump, but just a little more so that she is not pulling on the horses mouth. Great position for the small jump though! Its so much better to see this than see riders laying on their horses necks over small jumps.

I can't say it enough... good for her!! I would be very proud if that was my mom. :)

...he's so kissable, huggable, loveable, unbelievable...

Oh Wow! Thats fantastic that you've got your mum riding! My mum is as un-horsie as you can possibly get. She makes a point of standing at least 2m from any horse. It's not that she doesnt like them, she's just a big scaredy cat!

Good on you! (and your mum!)

Nice! She could give Mac a little more rein over the fences, but other than that she's looking good! I've been letting my mom ride Jasper, haha, so far she has refused to even canter him, and I couldn't convince her to go over cavalettis
