Please critique Galina's conformation

Hey guys. Well I took some pictures of Galina today so that I could ask you all to judge her conformation please =) I'm looking for critique of her overall build and muscle tone. The positives, the negatives and what muscles she could do with building up. Oh and I already know she's got a big grass belly at the moment lol

Oh yeah, forgot to say - She's a 9 year old standardbred mare being worked 3-4 times a week (dressage).

Thanks guys!!

No critique here, but she has a nice kind eye! She looks like a nice mare I have always liked standardbreds.

She seems nice.

She is cow-hocked, in the front it seems one foot is turned in while the other is turned out, seems downhill, rather straight neck, could afford more muscle, her chest is rather weird shaped...

I like her dappling.

I don't think I would have guessed standardbred. She has a sweet face. She is butt-high, cow-hocked. Her legs seem really long in the first pic especially. She's so cute though!

Are you sure she's cow-hocked?? Could it be that she is not standing completely square?? Or is it that obvious?? I'd never noticed that before... Maybe I'll get another picture on Saturday, and I'll make sure she's standing properly square.

And about building up some muscle... is it just overall she could do with being fitter, or are there any particular areas?

Thanks guys!

Please bare with me as I am just getting the hang of doing a full horse confirmation critique.

Ok so her head and neck - as far as muscle she lacks a lot of top line, what is her workload. You say dressage but do you work her in an outline, long and low?

Her neck does look quite small on her body but I think muscled up it would look a lot better.

Her soulder does look to be a bit straight in my opinion but i've seen straighter! She isn't over at the knee and is nice and straight. The ground does look un-even so it's hard to say whether the bum high is her or the ground.

The front left is definitely turning out whilst the other turning in. I would agree she looks slightly cow hocked but yeah try getting another pic and see if it's the same. Looks a little bit sickle ocked but the angle of the pic isn't great.

I think she is nice though and I am being quite nit-picky, as far as certain areas of muscling then it's pretty much everywhere. But especially her topline. Maybe some hill work would be a good idea plus carrot stretches that sort of thing. She'd look much different then
