I don't see a problem here. It is her horse and her friend. Other mods may weigh in here.
As for the video. It is way too far away to be able to even see the horse much less evaluate it. For the tiny bit seen at the canter, he seems a bit rushed and tense. That is often seen in horses asked to do flat classes like that and who are also run in barrels (overheard in the video). To do well in flat classes, you may have to rethink also gaming on the horse.
