What do you think of this mare as a low level dressage mount? I would just be riding for fun and dressage more to just learn movements with the horse. Oh, and I weigh 130 pounds so its well within her "limit".

    Thanks!

Well due to her health problems I would say that she would not be good if you were planning on clinicing or showing.
She is also not an ideal breed for dressage, but beause you are looking for a lower level mount, this doesn't really matter too much as long as her conformation is good.
There are no decent conformation or riding photos so I can't say much else. I have no idea if she is built well or carries a rider well. If you want a critique then some decent photos would really help.

Relly pretty mare, but not good photos to critque. There are sound horses out there for that price or a little more, I would keep looking.

I've never seen another horse named Uma! My horse is named Uma but she's the only one I know. Exciting!

Poor girl, she is so beautiful. I really don't think that she would withstand dressage training very well at all. I hate to say it because she is so beautiful and looks really sweet but I think you would probably have better luck elsewhere. It is just so sad to see horses like that.

I know I just feel really bad for her But I guess I would be better off with a horse that could comfortably be ridden. I wouldn't want to hurt her more.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Would anyone like to help me find a horse? I live in Washington and I would have around $1500 for a horse. I am an intermediate rider. Thanks!
