Please Critique my appaloosa mare and Xbreed gelding!

Hope I do this right! My first time posting pics!

Please Critique my new horses.

I have 2 new additions to the farm, both rescues.

The first is Dusty, a cross breed gelding about 16 years old and 15.2...anyone have maybe an idea of what breed he could be as well? The former owner says QHx but as he was an auction horse there is no telling..





The second is of Pie a 13 year old appaloosa mare. She is a former broodmare who then sat in a field for 4 years before coming to us. I know she is super out of shape...keep in mind she is in field condition and not worked regularly yet.

Dusty has nice short pasterns, good strong cannon bones, he has a nice soft eye, his back is just a little bit longer than I like but it's not too bad. He has a long thin neck. His back end looks like a QH and then his front half looks different lol. His head is a little long but he has a kind expression. Overall I think he looks pretty good. I have no idea what breed he is, but I can see QH.
Pie has a really long back, long thin neck also. It's really hard to do a good critique of them. If you could get pics of them standing square(where the front legs are together and the back legs together, underneath the horse) and a pic directly facing the left side, right side, rear, and front of the horse that would help a lot :) I think with conditioning Pie will look much better.
