Lightbulb Please critique my avatar! And my horse, too!

I've been riding XC for a year and what I know is that I've come a long way (baby). I think my legs are in the correct position. I could be bending at the hips more. Am I right? Wrong? What else should I be thinking about when critiquing my pics? What can you tell about my horse from this pic?

All comments appreciated :) And thanks in advance. It is great fun learning from these forums!

If you are asking us to judge based on your avatar, it is a bit too small to offer opinions on. But, from what I can see....lovely horse and decent position. Post more photos!!
