Cannot critique a baby like that. Wouldn't be fair to the horse. They will go through these awkward stages for another two years. What she looks like now will not be what she looks like in a couple of years.

Unless it weighs a ton... it's just a horse. Draft horse motto.

i also agree. theres no way to really critique a foal like that since they will see-saw back an fourth. shes cute though.

In what? What are your plans for her? Looking at daddy, she's not halter bred. Are you thinking performance?

There isn't anyone to write home about on her papers on top or bottom but her sire isn't bad looking and she's got nice color from what I can see.

She is a money earner prospec for barrel racing.

here is a link to a pic of her mom.

REGISTERED PAINT BROODMARE

She isnt for sale anymore. the owners daughter is now working with her and going to use her as a roping and barrel horse.

Critique of baby

No critique from me, but she is a darn cute foal! Really flashy! I am a sucker for overo's.

Any horse can be good at barrel racing and in the money if they're started soon enough so I say go for it!! I see you said "money earner prospect when she turns 2".... as a barrel racer, i'd advise against starting her on barrels until she's at least 3-4 as it's very hard on the bones and you don't want her to go lame.

i wont start her on barrels until she is proabably 5 or 6. i wreally want to get the basics down on her so she doesnt turn into one of those wiggy barrel horses. shes too smart for that.

Thanks!
