Please critique my new boy - Splash

Introducing Splash - 9 yr old Red Roan Overo Paint.

Used primarily his whole life trail riding but has done barrels/poles.

16'hh and presently weighing 1067# (taped). He does need his teeth floated and wolf teeth pulled, but it only seems to bother him while eating. Hasn't presented any problems while riding (with bit).

Hubby thinks he's "funny looking", but he can't tell me why

Whadda all think???

Forgot to add...........

Excuse the muddy mess, but 2" of rain, followed by 2" snow, followed by a melt (all in one day) will do that...........

Dang!!! Its suppose to be spring!!!!

For a show horse I don't think he'd work out, he has a very short back. He looks like he'd do good on barrels though because of it, short backs get around the barrels faster. I like his body personally, I would love to see what he looks like under all the fur. But I also don't know a whole lot about paints mainly QH's

I like him! He's different, but in a lovely way.

Looks nicely proportioned too.
