I have been riding for about 2 years

From winter to spring of last year I had to stop for awhile due to an injury to the horse I was riding

I apologize for the editing

Hi Lucy,

That's a really cute horse. Is he arab? You did very well in your trot. You had your hands pretty steady and you posted nicely in rythm and came down lightly on the horse's back. He seems pretty relaxed.
You will want to work on putting more weight down into your lower legs, through your heels. Don't force it by turning your toes outward, just kind of think about your weight sinking downward, and kind of mentally aim it through your heels such that it will meet up with your horse's back feet.
I think if you did some situps to strengthen your core muscles, some of the other parts of riding might feel easier. Core muscle stengthe will help when you canter, too. I noticed that when Choo stopped suddenly , you kind of flopped forward; lack of core muscle support. Something you can work on at home. Since you only get to ride once a week, you must do stuff outside of riding.
Dancing is a good excersize to support riding. Like good Hiip Hop?

As you start into cantering you will want to really try to relax, sit up proud and let the horse's energy flow through your pelvis. He looks like a horse you can trust to carry you safely at a canter, so just let him do his job and you sit down and go WITH him.
Oh, and by the way, next time you have someone video, as them to stand at that open door so that the light will be coming in from BEHIND them. will work much better.
Cheers!
