Please Critique :) Possible new SS Horse

Hello All!
Alright so here's the deal, this is "Jazzy". She is approx 10 yrs old, some kind of saddlebred cross probably. She is unregistered as she was an AC4H horse so her parentage and history is unknown. She is 15.2. I wanted to see what you all thought of her. She hasn't been ridden in a few months so she would need a refresher course, but she stands loads, ties, farrier's fine, etc. They have ridden her Saddlesat, a little hunter and jumed her a bit. She is a little too much horse for the girl that owns her according to teh trainer at the barn and they don't have the money to put her into training. I would just have her as a nice little project horse, I can't show her in a lot of shows since she is unregistered but I may end up taking her to a few schooling shows, etc if I do get her. Let me know what you think of her :)

BTW- SHE IS BAREFOOT IN ALL OF THESES PICTURES! No weights, chain, nothing.

Thanks!!!

WOW!! She's a cutie.

I'd definitely go saddleseat with her. She looks to be full saddlebred. If you are really determined, you could go through the saddlebred registry and look for horses of her age, color, markings, etc. A lot of people have done that with rescued saddlebreds and have found matches. Then, you send the DNA into the saddlebred assoc. And hopefully find your horse's papers which would allow you to show in breed classes obviously.

She looks full saddlebred to me. She has a lot of natural talent, and if you did stick to saddleseat with her (which I think you should, judging by her high knee action and high head set), you could get her shod with weighted shoes and she'd be even more of a looker.

Do you ride saddleseat all the time or did you just do it on her at the spur of the moment? Sorry, I am nosy.

Yeah, I definitely want to do saddleseat with her! Lol...none of those pics are of me riding her! I used to train Morgans and Saddlebreds so I used to ride SS all the time:) I miss it! I have an Appy now that I do Dressage with and trails, etc but I miss that "power" feeling.lol And with her natiral talent I don't think it will tae a whole lot of weight for her to track up right either which is nice:)

I wanted to see how I can go by getting the ASHA info....but I think it woul dbe kin dof a waste to join to just be able to look around and then not have her be anything, you know? I may ask one of my friends who's in the ASHA to do dsome research for me :) lol

Thanks :)

I'm in the registry actually. What markings does she have?
Does she look like any saddlebreds that you know of?

I could do some looking for you.

I think I've seen you 2 before..Have you maybe been on Horsetopia - Horses for Sale and Horse Classifieds?
Anyways: Your horsey is so beautiful and I LOVE the picture of you 2 jumping. Too cute :)

That would be pretty awesome! Thank you:) She is a Chestnut (could be red or brown) and she has a star and slight strip and she was pretty dirty when I saw her but I think she may have a left hind coronet band...but I do believe that's it...I'm not that familiar with Saddlebreds outside of FL so I probably won't be much help :) I dealt with mostly Morgans. Lol

I have a morgan too!! Actually, 2. ...and two pintaloosa pony mares and a pinto pony gelding. Lol

I will do a search but can you get me definite markings at some point? That way it'll be easier to search.

Yea, that's fine. I'm not online everyday though so don't be offended if I don't message you back right away.

I'm not going to start searching until I have exact markings though because there are thousands of horses.

So did you show morgans?
