Please critique Sargent Pepper

This is Sarge, a +/-13 year old TB gelding. He is an ex police horse. When he was in the police, he was involved in a serious car accident, but that was about 6 years ago, and he is fine now. I don't own him, but I ride him. This pics are from a little while ago, when he was a little thin due to an illness earlier in the year, but he has picked up weight, I'll take more pics when I can...

Please excuse his leg sticking out in the front pic, that's his definition of standing square lol.

This isn't the horse you were riding before, is it? YOu had a bay before, if I remember correctly.
This guy is grand in a gawky, gangly kind of way. He looks older than her is, but maybe that's due to the accident and the illness. He is over at the knees and has a huge wither. Has a really nice face and if he takes care of you, what do you care what he looks like? Is he a good boy?

He does look a little older than 13, but otherwise looks like a total sweetheart (: Weight wise, he looks better than my TB.. I'm jealous lol.

Sarge is an awesome horse, very well behaved. I'll ask his owners how old he is, I'm not 100% sure. Thank you for your opinions :)

He could do with more muscling, especially on his topline & butt.
He is high in the withers & slightly sickled & cow-hocked in the back.
I agree with the others that he does look older than 13 though...

I agree with the others, he is over at the knee, cow and sickle hocked. He has high withers and a short croup. He looks like a sweet horse.
