I think he's a decent enough looking horse, but if he vets sound, I'd like to know why they haven't done anything with him for the last two years. |
From the current owner:
"He had a chip in his left knee, surgery was done in 2009 and he has recovered 100%. X-rays where taken of his knee on 2/15/11. They have had 2 different vets look at his x-rays. Both agree he would be ok for most anything but upper level jumping could cause a risk down the road (arthritis, etc.). So basically he has been recouperating. If you are serious about adopting Mud Stomper and would like to talk to my vet about his x-rays and have them sent to your vet to view please let me know. You will need to pay for shipping to your vet. Vet wrap on the back was from a small cut which we cleaned and wrapped up. It has healed and doesnt need to be wrapped anymore. My vet did look at it to and he said it looked great."
The opinions I am looking for are his movement and suitability for lower level dressage. If he is put together appropriately for this kind of work, and if he seems overall ok..(redflags I may be missing, etc.).
TIA
