    please please critique :)))

    So please pick on me!
I have been riding for exactly 1 year.
I just like hearing different peoples opinions because I want to get better!

So this is me riding my favorite horse Paris. She is a bay thoroughbred that likes to bolt and she can be perfect one day and un-rideable the next. In the video I know I am pitched forward too far when cantering but I am working on it. You have to half seat on her because she will bolt if you don't.
I am riding the BAY thoroughbred

Is there a reason that nobody I answering this??

I think the lack of responses is due to having to open each pic. Take awhile.

In the last two pics where you're riding the mare, those two pics show that you are not using your leg properly. You're pinching with you knee while the rest of your lower leg isn't touching the horse. Try thinking of it as hugging the horse with your legs from your knees all the way down to your ankles. Otherwise, you look pretty good. You're looking up, your back is flat and your release is adequate. Fix the leg and you'll be looking great.

The rider in the first photo looks very different from the rest.

If you want to make this easier for other forum members, either post the photos in the thread (you do this by copying and pasting the image link from photo bucket, the photo will display here) or at the very least put all your photos in one album in photobucket and post the link to the album.i
