Thank you, all! Now I have one more for you to critique.

Sheza Dandy Starlet is a yearling solid black bay Paint filly, registered with the APHA. She should mature to about 15 hh and has been haltered, tied, trailered, hauled, dewormed, and had farrier work done. Her bloodlines are good, she looks cute (although can't tell too terribly much from the picture - have requested more), and she might be a little more willing to be taken from the pasture and worked. Bonus - she's a tad bit closer to me in terms of location, which would make it easier to arrange transportation for her.

Registered Solid Black Bay Paint Filly, Three Socks.

Yeah, it's really hard to tell much from the picture other than she has a cute head. I guess the biggest question about her is this: are you willing to wait another year or possibly 2 to have a horse that is old enough to ride?

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

I sure am. Even with that 8 year old mare, I wasn't actually planning to hop on her until next spring or summer. I want to spend a lot of time developing a solid level of trust with my horse, just playing with her and letting her figure out in her own time that I'm not a scary monster. I don't have any deadlines when it comes to riding. If I spend the next 2 or 3 years grooming her, taking her for walks around the farm and teaching her ground manners, that's fine by me.

I found some more photos of the filly on other ads. She looks a little goofy in most of them, just due to the fact she's a baby. Her neck looks a little thin right now, and she's a bit butt-high. She also looks very 'downhill', but that could be the angle that the picture is taken. None of the pictures are spectacular, but they give a slightly better idea of her conformation.

She looks like good raw material. Just needs warm weather and TLC, but she's cute. Or could be without all that fuzz lol

Thanks! I'm going to go check her out later this week or early next week... see what she looks like in person. Apparently, she's all shed out now and looks really good.

Thursday! Not only will the seller accept a payment plan (so I don't leave myself too short for other expenses), but she'll trailer the baby to her new barn.
