QH Critique

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering about getting a critique on my QH gelding. He is now about 17-18 years old. These pictures were sent to me before I got him almost two years ago. Some of the pictures are several years old.

I love this horse but have had a hard time bonding with him. We have just sold another one of our horses, and are now down to three, one for each of my two daughters this big boy for me. I am hoping that I can work things out with him and we can go on trail rides like he was doing in the one picture.

Anyway, please let me know what you think about him.

He's super cute!! A possible reason you might be having a hard time bonding with him is he looks a little extra testosterone-y haha... his super thick neck, especially at the throatlatch, is a possible indicator he got gelded late. He looks GORGEOUS in that third picture, a good solid all around trail horse :) hope everything works out!!

His back legs look really good, I think. His shoulder may be a little bit straight and his back is very long, but other than that he looks good!! Very handsome!!! I LOVE the picture of him in the water!

Thanks, I hadn't thought about him being gelded late. I'll have to see if I can find out.
