Rider Critique

This is me riding just recently this summer. Please do not pay attention to the horse's conformation/abillities.

Hopefully this picture isn't too hard to critique... sorry, it was the only picture I could find, and they its only a very small x-rail
Please don't be too mean, but tell me everything

I think you have a nice leg position, you are a little ahead of the horse and with this size jump you don't need to be so far out of the saddle, but you look like you have great potential

Same as the other post. You do look cute and OK for that size jump. Not so much forward? Let the movment dictate your actions . I am sure others will help more. But you and your horse are lovely.

What you are doing is that you are standing up in your irons instead of sinking down. Instead of lurching yourself up and forward - think more of sinking down and back.

Your knee angle is too open, so close it. How do you close it? By sinking down. Your seat is too far over the pomel of your saddle, so push it back.

Get it? Sink down and back.

You look good! A bit too far out of the saddle, but good!

Sit back a little bit so you aren't so far over the pommel then it will be splendid!
