    Romani - Still for adoption!

So a while back (I'd have to check how far back) there was a horse at a rescue that I was very interested in, he was one of my favorites. We'll today I decided to randomly go looking through rescue sites in Florida and he's STILL available!! I asked people to critique him and quite a few said he looked swayback but I think that may have been the pictures? Here are updated pictures they posted. They want $1500 for him. A bit steep for a barely broken horse BUT it is a rescue and its not overly unreasonable.
I've e-mailed the lady at the rescue a series of questions about him so I'll post those once she replys.

Let me know what you think of him!!

    His add:

Romani is approx 7 years old. He is a gorgeous Draft cross. Looks to have Shire or Clydesdale in him. He has a wonderful temperament and easy to handle. He requires an adopter who understands horse training, has a trainer or had trained a horse before. He is walking comfortably under saddle in the arena. He has two gorgeous blue eyes and is absolutely stunning. He is a gentleman, willing to learn and also very smart. He would be a great horse for anyone willing to take the time with him and who has the experience. His adoption fee is $1,500.

Wow. Beautiful. Anyway you can really tell if he has a sway back because the saddle is on in every picture.

You should ask the owner for some conformation shots of him without a saddle. He is very pretty though!!

Do you know why they aren't riding him in a snaffle if he is green?
I like him. I also can't comment about the sway back, but his hair is shiny and he looks healthy

    He's beautiful!

I'm a little concerned though by how they say he's walking comfortably undersaddle (implying that he's not trotting or cantering well yet) yet they have him in what appears to be a curb bit and they're using pretty direct contact in all the pictures. If it's that early in his training they really should have him in a snaffle since he's probably not neck reining yet. I'd just be concerned about how sensitive or dull his mouth is at this point with that kind of bit, yknow?

    He's sure a beauty though!

    Edit: SD ninja'd me. =P

It was 8 months ago when I first saw his add. Lol just looked it up.

I will ask. I think I may actually ride down there on my next day off if I have the chance, see how he is in person, take some pictures.

I did notice the bit and how uncomfortable he seems in the pictures. Neck craned up and not relaxed at all.

He is gorgeous, but I would ask for some pictures without the saddle on. But I do not see sway back at all.
