Romani - Your thoughts?

So I'm still out shopping and Jubilee mentioned a rescue in Fla and I found Romani. Now, I have no idea whether he is still available or not but what do you guys think of him?

His add:

Romani is approx 5 years old. He is a gorgeous Draft. Looks to have Shire in him. He has a wonderful temperment and easy to handle. He has had a bit and a saddle which he takes fine. He had not been trained to ride but is in training with us now. He has two gorgeous blue eyes and is absolutely stunning. He is a gentleman, willing to learn and also very smart ... easy to train. He would be a great horse for anyone willing to take the time with him and who has the experience.

wow!! he's really pretty!! his back looks kinda long to me but i think its because the saddle looks a bit to far forward.

he's really eye catching!

I would like to see a picture of him without the saddle on.

I would contact them and see if he's still available

I did =D. He a bit out of my price range but I asked if they had some sort of a payment plan. =) I'll let you know what they say.

Anyone else have any opinions?

His color is absolutely stunning with the blue eyes against the dark coat.........BUT, his conformation leaves a lot to be desired. Just from an initial look, he looks VERY downhill, sway backed, long backed, and in the picture on the right, looks very cow-hocked. He is pretty at first but if you start looking deeper, mostly what you find is severe conformation falts. Sorry to burst your bubble but I think I would keep looking elsewhere.

Aww, he looks nice! Yeah, it's kinda hard to critique with the tack on- but so far, I say check him out! & those blue eyes make me melt, soooo cute!

Ride more, worry less.
