Serious potential buy!!

This is Captain, he is a 6 year old registered AQHA gelding. 16.0 hands tall. Here is his pedigree Charging The Bar Quarter Horse, he has really nice pedigree, double bred dash for cash, mr charge bar is on the papers. This horse is such a sweet heart, he comes when called, loves to be loved on. He will shed out to a golden palomino.. i think lol. I went and looked at him today, he was not rode for over a year, and when he took him into the roundpen he had a little blow up at first, all that green spring grass, but all he did was hop in the air he didnt buck at all lol. I expected that though. Then in the round pen, poor captain slipped in the mud and almost fell under the panel, but he got up and took off running again like nothing happened. I only trotted him cuz it was soo muddy and slick, but he really new the word whoa, i mean he felt your seat and you said who... and he was stopped. If it drys out enough, sunday im gonna go back and really ride him, but its suppose to some time im gonna go out and ride him when everything is dry so i can lope him and what not. He did awsome for not being ridden over a year. I want to know if you guys think he is worth a trade. I like, but like i said i didnt really get to ride him... so im not finally in my decision. I would use him for barrel racing. He is fast.
Thanks!! Please try and be nice, i really do like him, but i know i need to be told if he is not good In the butt picture he had his leg cocked so thats why it looks kind of funny. And the rounpen pictures were not on even ground, just to let you know. He has such a sweet disposition, and not a mean bone in his body.

I like the look of him, I realy can't tell as much about him until I see him in action. But if he is the sweetheart you think he is, he should be a horse to be proud of.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

He is very pretty. He has a short, cresty neck with a thick throatlatch, and his head is very small compared to his body. He looks sturdy though. What kind of riding would you do with him?

He looks super awesomely gorgeous :) I can just picture him once his winter fluffies come off :] I love his build as well. If he is as good of a horse as you say he is.. I think you should try him again, this time when it isnt muddy. So you can get a feel for him, and see if he is actually what you like, instead of heading right into it, and making the wrong decision. But looks wise, you have got nooo worries, cause he is one gorgeous horse!!
Good Luck with him, go with what your heart tells you :] <3

I really like him! And if he's as sweet as you say then I recon that makes up for whatever small confo faults that he has. Btw, are those Bend Orr spots all over him or is it just mud?

I think he looks lovely, and go with your heart on this one. :)

Does he have to keep shoes on year round? Why are they selling him? How much are they asking? He's a cutie, that's for sure.

Are you absolutely sure you wanna mess with my carrots?
