Talking Tell me what you think about Ginger :)

4 year old Standardbred mare. Had the saddle on for the first time today (well previous owner said they had it on her once but I'm not sure if it's true). She took to it like she's been rode everyday hehe.. These were all taken today. Ignore the little boy, lol my 10 year old brother was trying to help me and she thought he had treats haha :) Tell me what you think about her. :)

Letting her move around with the saddle on.. Yeah she was worried about it wasn't she lol

Parked out on her own. Do Standardbreds usually do this?

Not the best to critique but rear shot.

    Side shot with a saddle.

He was trying to move out of the way but ended up in the way anyways lol

He was trying to fix her halter but she kept shaking her head at him.

    Another side shot :)

LOL He knows how to but she is to pushy with him when he is facing her, she was a pet, pretty much, before I got her and if he didn't turn his back to her she would like him in the face and nudge him with her head. But with his back to her she thought he was ignoring her and thus she started doing this lol

I just have to say that I am laughing at the pics with your brother. You can tell he is trying to hard and she isn't falling for it.

She is cute. Has a long neck for her body ... what do you want to do with her? If you just want her to mess around with she looks great to me. Also I like how she is healthily fed

Well to be honest I wasn't planning on getting another horse for a while.. LOL But she was offered to me in a trade for my mini mare and I couldn't turn her down after I seen her hehe so I really don't know what I want to do with her yet. Any ideas of what you think she may be good at? :)

She looks very nice. Especially with your poor brother. LOL. Shame...

Anyway. We won't really be able to tell what she will be good at until you have ridden her and seen how she moves and works and reacts to things.

When are you planning on riding her?
