Trying this again critique of 3 yr old

For some reason my videos are not working.. So il try something different.

3 yr old reg. Aqha zips chocolate chip/ impressive bred mare. Started this feb. 60 days... then took a break till I got her in Oct 18th. She is still learning... any comments would be great... but hold the ones about the rider. It is my friend katie. I am on the ground doing the ground work.

The biggest thing I noticed is that she really likes pulling her head down toward the ground...do you know what that is all about? Does she dislike the hackamore? Is she still testing the feel of contact on her face?

    Hello

No she is just learning to put her head down when I ask... But not great at it... so she puts in up and down and everywhere... She knows how to put it down, Its hard to put their neck down when they don't have the muscles.

I would not start a horse in a hackamore...
    If anything bitless, a bosal!

It might even help you slow her down as she is rather speedy at her trot.

I was looking for critiques on her movement not what kind of tack I use... different people have different things they use with their horses. She was used in both bosal and hackamore before I got her and all I had laying around was a hackamore and she does great with it... So I don't see why I need to put a bit in her mouth. I have put one in her mouth and she is fine with it... but she don't need it. Any critiques on the HORSE?

...Anytime you post a critique you are going to get it from all angles... it's just the way the game plays out...Trust me... I know...

As for the horse, it's a cute little mover although to me, it looks more english then western. I think you can slow her down once you start with collection but to me, she looks like an english mover.

Her neck is a little thin and could use muscling but that will come with collection, to me right now it looks like you are mainly concerned with forward movement. Collection will clean up your picture so once you get to that portion of your training you'll have to post another video!

How long has she been under saddle? She looks very sweet and willing...

She has only been under saddle for a month with me but she had 60 days proffessional training in february but didnt ride really that much untill I got her. I am mostly right now working on voice commands and head set, woah, back. Just basics.

I think she is more of a western pleasure horse. The way she walks and moves it screams Western Pleasure. It looks like she is smooth to be on. Beautiful horse.
