Two Critiques

Hey everyone,
Have these 2 boys for sale(not me but a couple friends). The owners are asking quite a bit of money for both, but wanting to get opinions, because I think they should be focusing more on finding them good homes and give them away, because the market has been garbage.

This first boy is a 2 yr old stud and has done absolutely nothing. Never been trailered off property. Born right at their place. He currently stands at 15'2hh. The dam is a 15'2hh Registered QH who's done very well in the jumper ring, and dad is Steevaroo, a 16'3hh dressage Stallion. This boy would be eligible for the appendix registry.

Steevaroo: Champion Throughbred Stallion

The photos below, are the only ones she has of him, but heading out tomorrow to get her some sales photos. Pm me if he perks your interest.

Now this boy I am in complete love with. He's a weanling, (will be Registered) Sport Horse. Absolutely gorgeous! This guy was actually imported along with another filly(who is also for sale). Owned by the same people, again daughter lost interest.

They also have pro photos of the filly they imported so I will have to wait until they are emailed to me. Will get more pics of that first stud tomorrow. This one they might get some good money for, but I still suggested to focus on finding a good home. I do think they would consider giving him away as well.

Pics to come of the filly if they do decide to sell her and allow me to post her up.

I can't really critique them, because 1) the pictures arent good and 2) they are still growing and are downhill. Has the stud been handled alot, is it really halter broken? Because one thing I will say is that unless they plan on doing something with it, he should have his balls snipped.

The sport horse looks like he's coming along well.

How much are they asking? I wouldn't pay any more than $3000 for the stud, and that's just because he has good lines and I would assume pretty good confo.. other than that he knows jack ****. I don't know what prices are like where your from but that's you would get for him here anyway.

Weanling
The second guy has nice coloring, but as of right now his entire front end looks way to small for his rear. I desperately hope he's standing at an angle to the camera. Way downhill (hopefully he'll grow out of it.) He is cute tho.

And the stud should be either cut, regardless of bloodlines. Or trained and worked with before he even looks at a mare. :)

Thank you so much for your critique. The colt just got a new home and was sold. Now need to place chestnut colt and this filly(pictures to come for her).
