UPDATES....sry for not bein here FOREVER!!!

Sorry I had to make a new account because I forgot all my info to the other . I know how to use a tie-down and I know they aren't very good. It was the last resort before the performance and I couldn't screw it up. Here's my updates...

Boo has lost weight.
And he refuses to gain with his extremely fast motabalism.
We know hardly anything about Blu's past.
He's the best horse in the world to me.
He's so trustworthy. I can stand up on his back.
I can ride him without tack.
He's brilliant. I am waiting to work him until he brings his weight up.
We have him on Beet Pulp mixed with Calf-Mana again along with his alfalfa and some grass hay. People have been suggesting Red Cell but all that does really is boost red blood cells and I'd prefer not to use it.

I have been riding even before I learned to walk. . By the way, did anyone figure out why I named him Blu? Lol. Thanks...

Grrrrr! I mean, Neigh!!! No help at all out there? Come on, please!

You should post pictures!!! Esp the ones of you on him with no tack. That really impresses me!

You should add "Riding both" in your Poll... :)

Yeah, I ride both too. I put western since it's what I ride the most often.

Sorry guys! I tried putting both but it didn't work! I've ridden both too. Although, Boo aka Blu prefers Western just like I do. He's a natural barrel horse, I think. Maybe I can post a pic sometime today!

But I do advise you: Boo aka Blu is really underweight and I don't want anyone thinking he's being underfed! We have him back on grain and everything, like I said. He has gained around ten pounds in a week. I wish it was more. In my eyes, he would be even more beautiful if he was the perfect weight.

I usually ride Boo aka Blu without tack just in his pen. He's learning leg pressure. Remember, he was abused and all. When I got him we had to almost completely start over. I had to teach him to STOP, back up, side pass, etc., etc., etc.!!!

Blu has a lot of potentional. He went down on the track one day when I was riding with my friend. We had just raced and we were pulling them up to slow down. We were at a pretty fast loping pace. The track was uneven and untended to so he tripped. I flew over my saddle and grasped his mane. He dragged is front end up again and kept going, with a dangerous limp while I was sitting on his neck. He strained he leg pretty bad and it took a while to get him back to his pen(he is staying at the fairgrounds for 4-H and rodeos). We thought he was going to go lame. But with his BIG heart, I knew he and I knew he wouldn't. So today he's fine. I haven't ridden him much since then and because of his weight problem.

I ride western my qh, and english my paint. So probably should of just vote twice. Lol!

By "without tack" you mean without bridle as well? I'm thinking about trying it too, just a little concerned she may not stop.
