    Seems like a nice, lay back filly and her price is certainly right. Do you have the experience to train her? She is very green and although she seems to have the right disposition, she is going to need an experienced rider or trainer to bring her along.

    Love her! I am so partial to the drafties.....especially love the clyde, since I have a clyde X (also known as my biggest dog....

    Take a look at Frog Pond, they have been discussed here previously, and are also a great draft rescue.

    Only think I will say about trail riding on a draft is that you are at a distinct disadvantage in close quarters. Many times my friends have forgotten just how big my guy is when we go "bushwhacking"! Lol I spend more time with my head on his neck looking at the ground to clear a low limb than they do, that is for sure!

    I have been riding since I was 7 and Im 23 now. I took lessons for about 10 years and on and off since then. But I've always ridden.
    Of course I know a lot people/trainers that could help me if I would need it.

    Hmm... drafts out here are cheap, lol. I'd say if you want a trail horse, make sure they're bombproof. What they look like is kind of secondary. Also, I hope you're not a small person, lol. Great thing about drafts? You can ride them bareback and it's like sitting on a couch. Good luck finding the right one :)

    For some reason when I look on dreamhorse.com and equine.com all the draft and draft crosses are around 2500-5000 and more Im looking to spend under 1000.

    I am only 5'4 but I've ridden drafts before and have always ridden horses 16hands or bigger. I'm not bothered by size.

    She's cute! I like Alistair too.

    Looks like she is going to need some work, but sounds like you are up to it.

    I was actually just looking at that website, and that particular horse! I checked out all their Belgians actually, imagine that. Hahahha. But she would be alot of work before she's trail ready, as you can see from her video. Depends how much work you're willing to put into her.
