Nice looking little horse. No good confo shots though so hard to judge. Looks like she can jump! For the amount of work they say has been put into her the price does seem rather low... especially if her temperment is a 2... I would ask exactly why they are only asking $1500.

I can't really tell anything from the photos (too grainy) but she sounds like a nice horse. I wonder what they're not telling you. If you're in the market and she's local, why not contact the seller and go see her for yourself?

The photos are not good quality, even if they were we couldn't tell anything about build or confirmation. She looks like she has a big jump, and seems to really push into it. A few things that would concern me...

#1. She is only just 5 yrs old...jumping competitively that high just doesn't seem right. That means one of two things, she was started very early which could lead to problems in her growth, or that she was just recently started and pushed hard leading to both mental and physical damage possibilities.

#2. A 5yr old TB mare with a temperament of 2 on a scale of 10? I don't think she is being portrayed in full truth. One of those ones you really have to go see to believe.

If you do go out to check her out, ride etc please update us! Horses in the market right now are going for up to 3x less than what they would have only 3 years ago. I've seen a few champion Reiners and WP champs go for under $2,000 locally. You never know. If she is as good as they say, who knows!?

APHA, I know of a 3 year old TB who has the personality of a puppy, so it varies.

But I would be pretty cautious if she's only 5 and is already being jumped competitively.
