=) Canter!

I am so happy for my girl, Raven. =) it has been a year and 1/2 since I have gotten her to canter!!! I was excited. I was riding Raven and Roxxi was loose and followed us. And we were riding on our back 25arces, and most of the trails are plowed, some arent, but anyways... Roxxi took off running infront of us, and I gave Raven her head and we WERE CANTERING! , I have tryed many times to get her into a can't but she has and extended trot, and that's the fastest we have gone since I have gotten her in April!

Aww good times, glad you were able to get her to move out.

On a side note though, please do be careful allowing her to run with a loose horse as herd mentality takes over and it could be seriously dangerous and harmful.

Great job, but agree with free_sprtd. Next thing you know, you could have a runaway horse.;

I love to canter now! I don't give laddie his head that would be nuts be careful though! We don't want no hurt horse people.

Ha thanks. Yeah Roxxi is a pretty good horse when I have her roaming the yard. I think the only reason I let Roxxi loose when I am work with Raven is because she needs excrise too. I have owned her for 5 going on 6 years and has managed to run down the road once.=). But she does stay near Raven. And I really never thought of Roxxi to be the "cya later guys" and take off 100mph type of horse! Lol =)
