Got on him in the school and nothing scared him too much! And im glad he understood the concept of a school lol! We did walk, trot, canter with serpentines, circles and diagonals. He was so beautifully round and soft in the mouth! The only problem we had was he was on the wrong canter lead on the left rein, he is also stiff on that rein. He did the transition to canter on the correct leg but then soon changed to the wrong one (a lovley flying change, just wish I had asked for it ). He has some muscle damage on the left of his chest which almost deffinately has something to do with it. His canter didnt feel any different to ride although I could tell that he was going to change, he just hasnt been schooled in a while so I think he wants to do it the way he feels most comfortable. Any advice in this?
Sorry there are no pictures guys but this was our first time travelling and we were a little stressed so were trying to get it right and not upset the horsey! Well next week, jumping! So I will get some photos then :)
