Cool 6 Hour Trail Ride

Ohhh my Lord.
I just went on a 6 hour trail ride.
I was riding with 2 of my friend's friend's.
So it was all good until Cayla's mom told her she had to go to church. Then they decided that we (Kelsey and I) were "doing just fine" and that we could ride around and just do whatever then go home. So basicly they totally ditched us. And the trails around there are really long and confusing, so we didn't know where to go.
So there we were, riding around trying to get to the road. And we land up at some old man's house. He gives us directions to get on a main highway, and we ride on. We finally reach a stable where I have ridden before, and Cam doesn't even care. Soo we call Kelsey's step-dad and he was being a pain and he didn't even want to help us!
So then we called my mom (we didn't have service before) and she drove up and tried to find the best way for us to get home. We ended up at a gas station. And the only way to get home was to go on a very dangerous road. But luckily for us, this very kind man offered to get his son to get their trailer and take us home!
We went home and my horse isn't even tired! He is indestructible!!
I just hope I can get my $25 from Kelsey...

Sore butt much?
Good excuse to carry a GPS next time I know how that can happen though. Its so easy to get turned around on a new trail. Glad you made it safe and sound.

whoa! I would have so panicked. That was nice of them to offer you and your horse a lift back...not everyone would do that :)
