Am I doing the right things for my experience?

Hey there! My name is Izzy and I ride english, bit and no bit.

I've only had 4 lessons, but on my latest one, we started off with being on the lunge doing walking and stretches (touch your toes, full circles with arms etc) and she always reminding me of my seat and leg etc.

Then we did trotting (which is what I am currently learning) and I still have to get the rhythm of posting, which I struggle with. So then we did sitting trot with no stirrups and I did that better than posting. And then we practiced more posting not worrying about me feet cause they keep slipping through the stirrups, but that was easy.

At the end, we did walking over poles and around the arena and I have some free time to walk and focus on my seat and controlling the horse.

I wanted to know if this is right for my experience? I don't seem out of my league doing this, but I wanted someone else opinion
