Amazing Riding Days?

Today I had an amazing day. Not only was the weather great, Skip was perfect, my mom rode with me for the first time in a while, and her horse Tahoe was great considering he hasn't been ridden since last summer and his "girlfriend" was sold two days ago. To add to my awesome day, I jumped Skip the first time today, and he did great(I didn't fall! Yay!) Besides the fact that the rope halters kept coming loose, everything went perfectly.

I don't have any pictures of me riding, no one seems to have their phone when I am riding, but I always have mine so here are a few. Sorry if they look funny, I am no photographer.

Here is Skip earlier this morning.

Right before the ride, he managed to mow down most of the grass around himself by the time I was done helping my mom with Tahoe.

Here is my mom on Tahoe, he's such a beast :)

And finally, my mom on Skip, she lets him get away with everything!

Please share your amazing riding days!

Saturday was absolutely fantastic. I got to ride the little Haflinger gelding at my barn, and only two days after he got adjusted by the chiropractor! The weather was beautiful and warm. The pony looked amazing because I got there early, so I had him groomed and his feet painted, and I even had time to braid his mane.

Because of his adjustment he was feeling really good, so my canter was a real canter instead of the silly little cart-pony semi-gallop-thing that we usually get with him xD And I got to jump him! I was a little nervous because it was my first time jumping him and his first time jumping in months, but he was perfect. We only did cross rails due to him being out of shape, but he was amazing and easy and comfortable. I was sad for that ride to end.

Awww, your horse is adorable! Did you jump in that Western saddle? I can't imagine that would be very comfortable, haha.

Sounds like you had a good day too! I love it when you don't want to stop riding :)

Thanks! He is a cutie haha. Nah, I busted out the old english saddle everyone seems to have lying around, and it fit him well enough so I made some cross rails with barrels and some 4x4's we had. I love my saddle for just riding around, its super comfortable for trails, but other than that it doesn't function for much.
