    I also loved riding bareback. The theory behind some who say riding bareback can cause a sore backed horse is that our seat bones might cause it. However, if ridden bareback a lot a horse can toughen up to the pressure of the seat bones as proven by all who never had a saddle or just prefer to ride without a saddle.
