Difficult to say, I've never ridden on the back of a bear

I have ridden my horse bareback, that is not sitting on a saddle, I don't really have a saddle I can sit in I'm afraid.

And riding bareback, not for me at the moment, I used to a long time ago, but now I much prefer my saddle
Speed Racer and DrumRunner like this.

I dunno Golden, I'd much rather be on a bear's back that in front of him where he can use his teeth and claws on me!

I was going to make the bear back joke too, but Golden Horse stole it!
Bare back isn't my thing, I much prefer the saddle, but I can see how it appeals to people :p

I used to enjoy it when I was a kid, now not so much, I prefer the comfort of a saddle.

Out of interest, how old are you Sahararae?

Sahara rae is 27 she was neglected and starved we let her come live with us. She and me are so close together not even a bear could get us separated.

Lol Sahararae, Alex is trying to ask YOUR age, not your horse's.

As to your question - I like both. Riding bare back I can really feel how my horse works and I guess feel more "one" with the horse, but I love my comfy saddle when working, long trotting, or practicing barrels.
