The Big 89ers Parade

Hey yall, well today I rode in the 89ers parade and it was a blast! So now I am going to tell you exactly what happend. I will be long tho!

Alright well, my trainors told us that they signed up to be in the 89ers parade. Well today around 9:07 a.m I arrived at the barn, I caught the horses and took them around near there house so we could begin to clean them up and add our decorative stuff on them. The girls in the class (Only 2 girls and me where goin to the parade) where puttin glitter and polishin their horses hoofs and such, but for me..... glitter just isnt my thing, so I went with the natural look and decided just to make sure Ana's mane was lookin nice and that she was brushed, picked, and clean.. Durin this cleanin Ana was SOOO GOOD! Me and her really connected durin this point. Then my trainor asked me if I wanted Ana's tail to be braided (can't think of the word), and I said yes... so now Ana banana is lookin BEAUTIFUL! So anyways after doin that we finally got ready and loaded the horses up in the trailor and began our journy to the meetin place in Guthrie.

We finally got there and after searchin the streets tryin to find a suitable spot to take the horses out, we got them tacked up. Now right now I can tell Ana is just abit nervous. So anyways we get ready, and walk up the street to a huge like "temple" thing, or idk what it was.. then we just kinda walked around to the front of this so called "temple" and sat there for atleast and hour waitin for everyone to get in there places. Ok, so after a few kids comin up to look at the horses and such, we where finally called to get behind a like vechicle.. So we start walkin down the street behind the "stormy meadows stables" sign that my trainors are carryin to REPRESENT!!! Our place! We get into the think of the crowd and by now there is tons of noise from a fire truck behind us and a band infront of us and people runin in the street to grab the candy we where tossin at the kids.

So we are walkin and its all fun, and we wave at the crowd and such. Then about half way Ana gets nervous and just starts actin up, which last through out the parade. So after we go around and wave and such, we finally get to the end of the parade and now we got people and cars just flyin every which way tryin to cross the street.. and people are runnin right infront of our horses.. so after that we are makin are way back to the trailors and then this car drives past and lets loose a few balloons, we I quess Ana is use to balloons so when the wind started to blow that balloon towards us (about 9 feet away from us) Ana starts flippin out and just starts like fast walkin backwards and I thought she was going to run or somethin but me and Ana kept our cool and luckily she didnt buck or nothin..

So FINALLY we get the horses in the trailor and then went for pizza which was fun.. but that's about the best way I can summarize what happend.. it was really fun tho, they had TV cameras and all that, and idk I was nice.. I heard alot of "look a cowboy" or somethin like that... lol which was kinda funny

Well that's abit of what happend today, sorry for it bein so long... I HAD A COMPLETE BLAST, and I LOVE ANA... its so hard not to get attached to her, becuase I am 90% sure that my trainor wouldnt sell her...

Thanks,
Brandon
