I'm 5'0", 115 lbs and jump my previous trainer's 12'1 pony without any problems. I actually fit her pretty well. I might be pushing it, though, with anything smaller.
Actually, she was wormed 3 days ago, and thus far, everything looks good. Surprisingly though, she is VERY picky about her hay. She likes to eat the smoothest, greenest, tastiest bits of the hay. She gets 3 flakes in the morning, and 3 flakes at night, and we've started giving her 1/2 lb of Purina Stratagy just after the worming. (as suggested by the vet to help her gain a little weight.) But, she eats this and that of her (good quallity) hay. Primarilly all grass hay, but we have a couple of bales of grass alfalfa mix we bust open about once a month.
But even still, she eats some of it, and pulls and makes a mess of the rest! Then she gets excited when you bring the new flakes at the end of the day.....
Ok, so I guess it's not surprising. She's a pony, and in true pony fasion, a brat.
