    A bit o' good news!

I have three good horse story related news in my life to share!

First of all, my new reg. Black qh mare my friend
sold me hadn't been rode in who knows when...1 yr? 2yrs?
more?. But anyways, while my fiance held her, I put a
Blanket on her, she had a bit of a fuss, but nothing serious.
After she calmed down we put a saddle on her and she
stood perfectly still while I actually put it on her and girthed
it up. After that, I slowly put my weight in the stirrup and
Pulled myself slowly up. Aftter I did that, I got off and went
Around to her and loved and praised her. I repeated this
action until I actually got on top of her and sat, later my fiance
Led me around on her. This mare was so misunderstood,
but after I actually rode on her, I know she will be no problem!
I was so excited! Next time we will lead her around some more
while riding and then try to attempt a bit!

Also, there is a BIG trail ride this Saturday to raise money
And I'm excited about going and taking ACE, after the ride a
nice meal is to be provided. Alot of ppl are going to be there,
it will be fun to ride in a big group!

I also watched the rancher who cares after my stallion work
With him yesterday. He can actually put a blanket and saddle
On him now, though he's not attempted to get on him, it's great progress!
We are planning to get him guilded very soon
So we can break him in for my fiance.
