Brag thread!!!!!

Brag about anything you want. Doesn't have to be horse related. But I'm sure most of them will. LOL. It's allways good to share the things your proud. Have fun!!!

My brag:

Today was my second english lesson and I think it went really well!! My canter has improved tremendously. I'm hoping we'll move onto jumping soon. But I have a great lesson. Even my hands stayed closed. I have the habit of keeping my fingers open. :) I'm a happy camper today.

I just have to brag that I own such an amazing horse. I rode him yesterday in a halter in a big parade (for the first time) and while he was a little bit 'up', he was still soft and smooth as silk. Oh, and did I mention that before all that, he got to rope, drag, and hold down a steer that weighed about 900lbs while my brother pulled porquipine quills out of it's nose?
Looking absolutely gorgeous all the while LOL.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

I got to go on an awesome trail ride with an amazing mare the other day! I haven't had a nice ride in way too long. We went down some beautiful trails behind her stable- between all sorts of bushes and trees and hills...nice, clear trails, too! If there's one thing I hate it's having to constantly be on guard to duck under those low-hanging branches. They're close to the beach, but not quite close enough, we didn't have enough time to see the water, but we did get to ride through the sand dunes which was amazing! Since the sand is so deep the horses have to really work to get though it, and it feels kind of like you're bouncing through the clouds or something, lol, especially since the sand was so white!
I had a really great time and this little mare is a dream- I'm dying to bring her home. Hopefully I'll get to!
