Charlies temporary new headcoller...because he peed on his other one lol

So charlie is now stuck with this reflective bright pink headcoller until christmas, because he peed on his green one and I can't afford to buy him a new one at the moment.
Oh, and a video of him neighing to me...he does it every time I walk round the corner...even when I get out the car in the morning lol bless himm.
Oh and what do you guys think of his weight? Could he do with putting some more on?

Halters are washable! I use a warm bucket of soapy water, rinse with the hose, dry the metal parts off very well and then hang up to dry.

Its okay, I didnt like his old one anyway, I was looking to get him a new one just had no idea what colour to get. His old one was a horrible dark green

Heck, I have been known to toss a nylon halter into the clothes washing machine.

I like the neon pink look though.

Haha I think pink suits him. He has a hot pink stable rug aswelll.... :P
But I don't think he liked his green headcoller much anyway...since he actually walked over to the door where it was on the floor & stood over it and peed right on top of it...i think that was his subtle hint that he didnt like it lol

I was afraid the metal on it would wreck the washer and I could only imagine what the hubby would say (or scream and yell) if I broke the washer with a horse item!

I always just throw the halter in the washing machine... I wrap it in a furry bag (I use my ferret's carrying bag) and secure it so the metal doesn't bump inside and damage the machine.

My friend's wife doesn't even allow him to machine-wash saddle pads, she said she doesn't want any "filthy horse stuff" in her washing machine He always gets funny looks when he brings all his saddle pads to the dry cleaning. We were laughing that their washing machine must like massage the clothes or something that it's so special.

I wash my cloth girths too so I guess I am not too worried about the hardware.

Toss it in there with a bunch of towels. They will provide padding.
