Talking check it

I had my first lesson today. It was 2 hours for $15! So it was a very cheap lesson compared to what a lot of people charge. I was told I sat to stiff and my arms weren't properly placed. I also was able to use split reins and didn't lose control...never thought I could ever use those darn things. I worked on side passing and I did a haunch turn without knowing I was doing it,haha. She made me practice without stirrups too. It was really fun and she said I did a really good job but need to relax my back since I'm use to sitting up stiff. I have a lesson every saturday.

I love a well trained horse to train me :)

it was reaaally fun. Now I understand why I should learn on a lesson horse...gee sometimes I'm so stubborn.

I am going to have my husband record videos of my lesson so you guys can watch me improve.

Congrats on the lesson!

Since we live in the same area, can I ask who you used? I have tons of people who are looking for decent lessons at a cheap price. I get my lessons free from my trainer 'cause I work them off, but she gives lessons at $35 bucks a pop. Granted she's really, really good but a lot of people can't afford it.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.
